TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these terms (“terms”) carefully before using the online payments facility. Using this facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this facility.

PAYMENT

Phoenix Commercial Collections Ltd (“Phoenix”) accept payment by most major credit and debit cards.

Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Solo, Electron or Maestro are all accepted.

All payments are subject to the following conditions:

Your payment will take a minimum of 3 working days to reach the account to which you are making a payment. (This includes time to verify your credit/debit card details with your credit/debit card supplier and for payment to be notified to Phoenix. If your payment is overdue and recovery action is about to be taken, you must contact our office immediately to notify us of your intent to pay. Once your payment has been approved and identified via your Phoenix account reference number, the paid amount will be allocated to your account.


We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the intended account due to a defaulter quoting an incorrect account number.


Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier (due to the customer quoting incorrect card details or for any other reasons).

Should your credit/debit card supplier decline payment, Phoenix is under no obligation to bring this fact to the defaulter’s attention and defaulter’s are advised to check with their bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from their account.

REFUNDS/OVERPAYMENTS

Where overpayment occurs as a result of a change in liability, the excess money will be passed to our Client. Any requests for a refund should be made direct to the creditor.

CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT

You will receive a confirmation of your payment on screen as well as in writing, usually by email, after you make the payment.

LEGAL STATEMENT
Phoenix confirms that the data provided during this transaction will only be used for the purpose of recording your payment. We shall abide by the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 and ensure that the data is used for no other purposes and is not disclosed to any third party.

APPLICABLE LAWS
This site is administered by Phoenix Commercial Collections Ltd from its offices in Bolton, Lancashire. These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.
